손 문 일
1980
서울대학교 미술대학에서 동양화를 전공하고, 중국 베이징 중앙미술학원 대학원 벽화과를 졸업하였다. 이후 실기와 이론의 균형을 모색하며 중앙대학교에서 예술학 박사를 수료하였다.
다양한 재료와 형식을 넘나들며 작업의 영역을 확장해 왔지만, 작업의 중심에는 언제나 인간의 삶에 대한 관심이 자리하고 있다.
현재 서울과 북경, 베니스 등에서 다수의 개인전을 가졌으며 북경 중앙미술관, 한국 성곡미술관 코리안 투마로우, 암웨이 미술관 개관전, 이화여대 미술관등의 단체전과 다수의 해외 전시에 초대 되었다.

The artist studied Oriental Painting at the College of Fine Arts, Seoul National University, and graduated from the Mural Painting Department at the graduate school of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, China. Seeking to bridge artistic practice and theoretical inquiry, the artist subsequently completed doctoral coursework in Art Studies at Chung-Ang University.
Working across a wide range of materials and artistic forms, the artist has continuously expanded the boundaries of their practice, while maintaining a consistent focus on human life and experience.
The artist has held numerous solo exhibitions in Seoul, Beijing, and Venice, and has been invited to participate in various group exhibitions, including those at the CAFA Art Museum in Beijing, the Sungkok Art Museum's Korean Tomorrow exhibition, the inaugural exhibition of the Amway Art Museum, and the Ewha Womans University Museum, as well as numerous international exhibitions.
